Mother/Daughter Dinner at Church

Tonight was the annual Mother/Daughter dinner at our church. This is a tradition that we started when we moved here 4 years ago and we always have a super time. The dinner was Chicken Cordin Blue, Aspargus, Twice Baked potato, roll, cake and fresh fruit, we had white chocolate mints and peanuts also! There are always games, poem/story readings and a skit or play to entertain us. Andrea win a journal for wearing the most yellow. We almost had the most pennies, and we also had a bunch of pictures in my purse that got us another gift, it was a debate with the woman with the digital camera full of grand kid pictures...

Also, this year Donald and Derek got in on the action in the "Womanless Weddin".

It's a skit put on by all men, about a "Hillbilly weddin'!"

It of course was hularious and a good time was enjoyed by all...

This is my husband who was the father of the bride!

The bride in the dress is another man on our church and the man in the overalls is our son,, he's the man marrying the supposedly pregnant woman.. It was a bit of a shot gun weddin', you see! They are sucking on the "ring pops" that they used for getting hitched~ VERY GOOD~~ Definitely funny~

This is the Brides family.. they are also men in our church... Quite a deal it was the "Womanless Weddin'! "
