My tire garden has expanded to 16 tires (not all are in this picture) and I've got most of them planted now. 5 tires have potatoes now, one is waiting for the sweet potatoes that I ordered, which should have been here. I added 4 more strawberry plants to the center of the two layer planter. They also have a window teepee to keep them warm.
I have a bunch of little window teepees on the small plants that I planted and one that has seeds in it. Garlic and onions are out there too. I love being outside and this week has really been perfect for that. I probably planted too much for this time of year, but I have plenty of small plants still in the house and more seeds if the other freeze and don't grow. I'm so excited to have a larger garden this year. It opens up the world to have a place to plant your hopes and dreams~ Makes the world seem so much more positive.
Now what to make from the old Barbque grill stand? I garden wash sink? Might just work, I have the sink, shutter and some old tiles for the task... I will report later on it as it developes~
